About this wine

Bruno Giacosa's Roero Arneis comes from select vineyards in Vezza d'Alba, Monteu Roero, Santo Stefano Roero, Canale and Montà d'Alba. Fermented in stainless steel without malolactic and refined four months in tank, it is straw yellow with green glints, showing acacia blossom, peach and lemon, then a fresh, savoury palate that gives length.

from the producer

Bruno Giacosa was one of Piedmont's legendary winemakers, famed for single-vineyard Barolo and Barbaresco; his daughter Bruna now runs the house. Giacosa was one of two producers credited with saving the Arneis grape by bottling it commercially in the late 1960s.
