About this wine
This Pinot Grigio is part of Cantina Terlano's Tradition line, made from vineyards at 270–350 metres in Alto Adige. The grapes are hand-picked, gently pressed and fermented slowly in temperature-controlled steel tanks, then the wine rests on its lees for five to seven months. It's dry, with just 1.5 g/l of residual sugar.
2024 started with the wettest spring in the area since 1965, which delayed flowering, but a dry, warm August set up a vintage the winery rates highly for its whites.

from the producer
Cantina Terlano, founded in 1893, is one of Alto Adige's leading growers' cooperatives, with 143 members farming 165 hectares on slopes of 250–900 metres over mineral-rich red porphyry. Growers are paid for quality rather than quantity, and about 70% of production is white wine, in four lines: Tradition, Selection, Rarity and Primo.
