About this vermouth
Punt e Mes was born in the Carpano shop in Turin in 1870, when a stockbroker asked for his vermouth with half a measure of cinchona (quinine) — 'a point and a half' in Piedmontese dialect. It joins vermouth's sweetness with quinine bitterness.
Orange with topaz tones, it smells of herbs, cinchona and clove. The palate starts sweet with orange peel, turns to cinchona bitterness, and ends sweet again.
