About this wine
Chevalier-Montrachet is the grand cru on the steep, stony slope directly above Le Montrachet in Puligny. Domaine Alain Chavy's small parcel lies beside Les Demoiselles, near Le Cailleret. Its thin, rocky soils give a taut, mineral Chardonnay built for the cellar. This is the 2018 vintage.

from the producer
Domaine Alain Chavy was established in Puligny-Montrachet in 2003 from vineyards Alain inherited from his father. The estate now farms 17 acres in Puligny, plus smaller parcels in nearby Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault. Its wines emphasize restraint, structure, minerality, and longevity, with Alain’s cellar work designed to keep oak in balance with fruit.
