About this wine

The 2011 En la Perrière Noblot is a distinctive white Premier Cru from Domaine Alain Michelot’s monopole in Nuits-Saint-Georges. Made from Chardonnay, it comes from an east-facing site on the lower Hautes-Côtes slopes, where limestone and light clay lend freshness and mineral definition. French-oak fermentation, gentle lees work and barrel maturation shape a silky, layered style. Expect a pale golden appearance, floral and orchard-fruit aromas, then a lively palate that finishes with elegant honeyed and vanilla nuances.
