About this wine
Domaine Auchère’s 2024 Cuvée de l’Abbaye is a focused Sancerre Blanc from Sauvignon Blanc grown in clay-limestone soils. Gravity-fed handling and a measured 24–36-hour settling period precede stainless-steel fermentation, while 9–12 months on fine lees builds breadth without obscuring freshness. It pours pale yellow, with citrus and white-flower aromas and a broad, powerful palate held together by lasting acidity. Its clean balance makes it equally suited to an aperitif or the table.
