Domaine de la Belouse lies on the boundary of La Roche-Vineuse, and this 2023 white comes from the appellation named after that village. Mâcon-La Roche-Vineuse covers defined vineyards in La Roche-Vineuse, Hurigny and Chevagny-lès-Chevrières, with vines between about 260 and 350 metres on valley floors and hillsides. Made from Chardonnay in the domaine's modern winery, it is a fresh southern Burgundy white.

Domaine de la Belouse lies in the heart of the Mâconnais, between Mâcon and Cluny, where Berzé-la-Ville meets La Roche-Vineuse and Milly-Lamartine. Founded in 1973, the estate has grown steadily and now farms about 30 hectares, making some 2,000 hectolitres a year in a purpose-built winery that combines modern equipment with traditional know-how.
