About this wine
White Nuits-Saint-Georges is a small part of an appellation known mostly for red, and this 2023 is made by the Dupasquier family in neighbouring Premeaux-Prissey. Pure Chardonnay from clay-limestone soils, it starts fermenting in stainless-steel vats before moving to barrels for malolactic fermentation and ageing, with bottling after about a year. Expect white-fleshed fruit and buttery, complex aromas, with fine minerality balancing the wine's richness. It can age for five to ten years.
