About this wine
Famille Vincent's 2023 Marie-Antoinette is a Pouilly-Fuissé white from Burgundy's Mâconnais, made entirely from Chardonnay. Named for Marie-Antoinette Vincent, mother of Jean-Jacques Vincent, it draws on young vines in Château Fuissé's Le Clos, Les Brûlés and Les Combettes plus other family-owned parcels. The wine balances a mineral line with a rounded, lively texture: white flowers, lemon and apple lead toward melon, kiwi, peach and apricot and a long, fresh finish. Separate parcel vinification and fine-lees fermentation preserve clarity while giving the wine breadth and gentle complexity.
