About this wine

Etiqueta Verde, the green label, is Bodegas Granbazán's classic Albariño from the Salnés Valley, the heart of Rías Baixas in Galicia. For more than 30 years Granbazán has worked with around 80 grower families in Cambados, Vilanova and Meaño. Their fruit comes from over 100 small plots on granite soils beside the Arousa estuary.

The grapes get a short cold soak of six to eight hours, then ferment at cool temperatures in stainless steel. The wine rests on its fine lees, without stirring, and is bottled four to five months after fermentation.

NoseVery aromatic, with bursts of citrus, honeydew, lemon pie, fennel, lemon verbena and fresh chamomile.

Agro de Bazán’s Granbazán estate works with around 80 viticultural families across Cambados, Vilanova and Meaño. More than 100 small granite-ground parcels near the Ría de Arousa feed its Salnés Valley wines, linking a long-standing grower network with a distinctly maritime Albariño style.
