About this sake

Funaguchi launched in 1972 as Japan's first nama sake. It is unpasteurised and undiluted, so it reaches 19% — rich and full-bodied with a clean finish. The can blocks light and is filled to the brim to limit air; kept cold, it mellows and turns velvety after a year or so.
