Maison Louis Latour is a Burgundy house based around Beaune, with its own cooperage that makes the barrels for its oak-aged wines. In 1979 it chose the clay-limestone slopes of the Ardèche valley to grow Chardonnay, and it also farms the Valmoissine estate in the Var for Pinot Noir.
