About this wine

Mastroberardino’s 2023 Radici is a structured white from Fiano di Avellino DOCG in Campania. Made entirely from Fiano grown at Santo Stefano del Sole, it combines orchard-fruit and citrus fragrance with acacia, hazelnut and fresh herbal nuances. White peach and grapefruit give the palate lift, while a smooth texture and lively acidity carry the wine toward a close marked by dried-fruit notes. Stainless-steel fermentation and several months of bottle ageing preserve both clarity and depth.

from the producer

A family winery in Atripalda, Mastroberardino traces its winemaking lineage to the 1750s and formal registration to 1878. Across ten generations, the estate has championed Campania’s indigenous varieties, including Aglianico, Fiano, Greco and Falanghina. Its work centers on expressing these grapes through site-conscious vineyard management and restrained, character-preserving cellar practice.
