About this wine
Puligny's name is said to come from 'Pul', meaning marsh — the village sits on pockets of water that rule out underground cellars. Leflaive's village wine draws on all 26 climats of the appellation, on stony clay-limestone at 230–250 metres, from vines averaging 40 years, fermented and aged 18 months in barrel. 2024 was a year of record rain and heavy mildew pressure that cut yields, but the house reports wines of freshness and radiance.
