About this wine
Rizieri’s 2017 Arvià is a Langhe DOC white made from Piedmont’s Arneis grape at the estate in Diano d’Alba. The vines face west/south-west at about 350 metres on calcareous-clay soils with sandy veins. After gentle pressing, the must ferments at 13–15°C in stainless steel and the wine rests about three months on its fine lees. In Piedmontese dialect “arvià” describes a lively, quick-witted child — fitting for a white with floral, fruity aromas and a fresh, mineral palate.

Its approximately 14-hectare property includes about 7.5 hectares of vineyards, with surrounding woods moderating the site.
