About this wine
The 2023 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos under the Roger Roblot label is made by Lamblin & Fils from one of the seven Grand Cru climats on the right bank of the Serein. The Grand Cru soils are Upper Jurassic limestone marl full of tiny fossil oysters. The wine is fermented in two- to three-year-old oak barrels and aged for 12 to 18 months. Expect dried flowers, ripe peach and pear, a structured, fresh yet round palate, and a finish of dried fruit, white peach and fine spice.

Roger Roblot wines are made by Lamblin & Fils, a family house in Maligny in the Chablis district. The Lamblins have owned vines in Chablis since 1690 and are now in their twelfth generation. Louis Lamblin moved into the wine trade in 1890, and the house grew internationally from the late 1950s. Its vines are farmed sustainably.
