About this wine
Roger Roblot's 2023 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir is made by Lamblin & Fils from Vaudésir, one of the seven Grand Cru climats grouped on the right bank of the Serein. These slopes lie on Upper Jurassic limestone marl rich in fossil oysters. Fermentation takes place in two- to three-year-old oak barrels, followed by 12 to 18 months of ageing. Expect an expressive nose of delicate flowers, gunflint, toast, vanilla, honey and hazelnut, a balanced palate and a long finish.

Roger Roblot wines are made by Lamblin & Fils, a family house in Maligny in the Chablis district. The Lamblins have owned vines in Chablis since 1690 and are now in their twelfth generation. Louis Lamblin moved into the wine trade in 1890, and the house grew internationally from the late 1950s. Its vines are farmed sustainably.
