About this wine
Roger Roblot's 2022 Chablis Premier Cru Vaillon comes from a small 1.3-hectare plot in the Vaillons Premier Cru climat, which the Lamblin family obtained from Roger Roblot. Vaillons is one of the Chablis climats on Kimmeridgian soil, a limestone formed from fossil oyster shells some 150 million years old. Lamblin & Fils, a Maligny family house with roots in Chablis going back to 1690, makes and bottles the wine. Premier Cru Chablis is made entirely from Chardonnay.

from the producer
Roger Roblot wines are made by Lamblin & Fils, a family house in Maligny in the Chablis district. The Lamblins have owned vines in Chablis since 1690 and are now in their twelfth generation. Louis Lamblin moved into the wine trade in 1890, and the house grew internationally from the late 1950s. Its vines are farmed sustainably.
