About this wine

Trimbach’s Classic Riesling is the house’s benchmark dry Alsace Riesling, with a quarter of its fruit from Grand Cru vineyards and plots chosen each year by Pierre Trimbach. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, concrete and old casks without malolactic fermentation, it is bottled the following spring and cellared for at least a year before release. The 2022 shows lemon, pear and tropical fruit with candied orange, then an elegant, lively and crunchy palate of white flowers and citrus leading to a mineral finish.

Maison F.E. Trimbach is a family winery in Ribeauvillé whose history reaches back to 1626. The house specializes in balanced, dry Alsace wines, with Riesling at the center of its range. Pierre Trimbach, representing the 12th generation, oversees winemaking alongside younger family members, continuing the estate’s long regional tradition.
