About this wine
Wölffer Estate Rosé is winemaker Roman Roth’s homage to Hamptons summers and to founder Christian Wölffer’s love of pale, dry rosé — the 2025 is the 34th he has made. Grown on 55 sustainably farmed acres of Bridgehampton loam just 2.6 miles from the Atlantic, the blend is 60% Merlot with Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Riesling, Vidal Blanc and Chenin Blanc, picked in waves between late September and early October. Fermented slowly and cool, it spent about 12 weeks on its lees without malolactic. Delicate ruby, it offers honeysuckle and ripe wild strawberry, vibrant acidity and minerality around concentrated fruit, and a long, savory finish.
