About this tequila

1800 Reposado starts as a selection of the brand's double-distilled white tequilas, made from 100% Blue Weber agave cooked in brick ovens. These are blended and rested for roughly two to four months in a mix of high-char new American oak and high-toast new French oak.

The result is bright honey in the glass, with agave aromas laced with oak. The palate brings rich caramel, gentle spice and a hint of smoke, and the finish closes on sweet orange peel, white pepper and marzipan. Sip it neat, pour it over ice or use it to give a margarita more depth.

1800 Tequila takes its name from the year it says its original formula was created. Its Blue Weber agave comes from estate fields and selected growers across Jalisco and is left to mature six to eight years before harvest.

At the distillery the agave is steam-roasted in masonry brick ovens for 36 to 40 hours and double-distilled in copper pot stills. The range runs from Blanco through Reposado and Añejo to Cristalino.
