About this wine

Beringer's Knights Valley vineyard, 17 miles northwest of the winery, covers about 600 acres of rocky, well-drained soils. Lots are kept separate through extended maceration and 14 months in French oak. A warm 2022, with a September heatwave, gave blackcurrant, plum and boysenberry with dark chocolate, sage, tobacco and spice; bright acidity and fine tannins keep it balanced.
