About this wine

Cakebread blends its Napa Cabernet from distinct pockets of the valley: Rutherford and Oakville for bold fruit, warm Calistoga and the cooler Suscol watershed for layers and depth. 2022 was mild and even, and continued drought kept yields low and flavours concentrated. Ripe blackberry, plum and boysenberry meet dark chocolate, baking spice and toasty oak, with bright acidity and velvety tannins.
