from the producer
The Vigouroux family has championed Cahors Malbec since 1887 and bought Château de Mercuès, the former castle of the Counts-Bishops of Cahors, in 1983. Fourth-generation winemaker Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux introduced high-density planting there; the château is also a Relais & Châteaux hotel.
