About this tequila
Clase Azul Blanco Ahumado borrows from traditional mezcal-making. Blue agave cores are cooked in an earthen pit fired with wood and volcanic rocks, where the heated rocks rather than the flames do the cooking. The agave is then shredded, fermented with Clase Azul's proprietary yeast developed from wild strains in its own fields, and double-distilled in custom copper stills.
The smoke is deliberately gentle. Aromas of smoked agave, fresh plum and red apple lead to fresh lemon and minerality, with a silky finish and a smoky undertone.

Clase Azul is a Mexican tequila house best known for its hand-painted ceramic decanters, each one made and decorated by artisans in Jalisco, so no two bottles are exactly alike.
The range spans Plata, Reposado and Añejo tequilas, plus mezcal and limited editions. The Reposado, in its cobalt-and-white decanter, is the brand's signature bottle.
