About this wine
Crossbarn's 2023 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay was picked by hand at night between late September and mid-October, after a slow, cool, rain-soaked season that ran late and needed heavy crop thinning. It was whole-cluster pressed, fermented with native yeasts and aged on its lees entirely in stainless steel, then bottled unfined. Green apple, Meyer lemon zest, gardenia, honeysuckle and orange blossom lead to Honeycrisp apple and a burst of guava, with vibrant, mineral acidity, a lightly creamy texture and a pure, clean finish.
