It opens with crisp agave and bright citrus, lemon, lime and grapefruit, then stays light and gently sweet on the palate. That clean profile makes it an ideal Margarita or Paloma tequila, and it is easy to sip neat or over ice.

Don Julio González began making tequila in 1942 at La Primavera, his distillery in Atotonilco el Alto, in the highlands of Jalisco. He was known for his exacting approach to the agave fields, including how the plants were selected and spaced.

The range runs from Blanco to Reposado, Añejo and the 1942, the brand's tribute to the year it all began.
