About this wine

The 2021 Frank Family Napa Valley Zinfandel comes from the family's S&J Vineyard in Capell Valley and grower partner Sunseri Vineyards in Chiles Valley. It is 89% Zinfandel with 11% Petite Sirah, aged 16 months in French oak (one-third new). Expect clove, dark plum and fresh violets on the nose, then crushed black pepper, thyme and creamy mocha, with velvety, fine-grained tannins and an underlying acidity that lifts it into a long finish.

Frank Family Vineyards makes wine at Napa Valley’s historic Larkmead Winery, a stone property dating to 1884. Rich Frank acquired the site in 1992, and the winery welcomed the public in 1993. The estate has expanded from its first 200 cases while maintaining the landmark setting and earning Napa Green certifications for its land and winery.
