About this wine
Freemark Abbey's 2022 Napa Valley Chardonnay brings together fruit from Ahmann, Huichica Hills, and Rancho Sarco vineyards. The wine opens with apple cobbler, crème brûlée, pineapple, orange marmalade, and peach, then moves into a supple, integrated palate of stone fruit, candied lemon zest, baking spice, ambrosia, and vanilla. Barrel fermentation and ten months of aging lend creaminess, while vibrant balance carries the flavors into a lingering finish.
