About this wine

Frei Brothers Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 comes almost entirely from Barrelli Creek Vineyard in northern Alexander Valley. A wet winter and spring gave way to a long, temperate growing season and deeply flavored grapes. Gentle crushing and frequent pump-overs build texture, and small additions of Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot add structure before the blend is aged on French oak. Bold and velvet-smooth, with ripe dark fruit, cocoa and vanilla.
