About this tequila

Hornitos Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila rested in American white oak, a light touch of wood that keeps the agave lively while adding a slightly woody edge. Hornitos was born in 1950 to mark Mexican independence, and the reposado is its most familiar bottle.

It is pale straw in color, with fine agave, herbal and green apple aromas. The palate balances agave with apple and herbal notes and a little wood, and the finish is medium to full-bodied, warm and slightly astringent. It works neat, on the rocks or in a margarita.

Hornitos is a tequila from Casa Sauza, which Don Cenobio Sauza founded in 1873 in the town of Tequila, Jalisco. The Hornitos brand was created in 1950 to commemorate Mexican independence.
