PlumpJack’s roots reach back to a San Francisco wine-and-spirits shop founded by Gavin Newsom in 1992. Today, PlumpJack Estate Winery is based in Oakville, Napa Valley, with 42 planted acres across an alluvial fan shaped by Vaca Mountain landslides. Diverse clay, loam, silt and gravelly soils support a range of estate varieties.
