About this wine
Ramey’s 2024 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay comes entirely from the Martinelli family’s Charles Ranch in the Fort Ross-Seaview area, planted in 1982 on Goldridge sandstone and Josephine shale soils. The fruit is pressed as whole clusters for delicacy, fermented with native yeasts and taken through full native malolactic in barrel with lees stirring, then aged 12 months in French oak (10% new). It is traditionally fined for clarity and texture and bottled unfiltered.
