About this wine
Recanati’s 2020 Sauvignon Blanc comes from two high vineyards, 630–850 metres up on terra rossa and basalt: old vines at Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee, planted in 1992, and the Tel Fares vineyard on the Golan Heights. The grapes are pressed gently and fermented at low temperature, then aged on the lees in stainless steel to keep the wine fresh while adding texture. Expect white grapefruit, a fresh herbaceous character and wild flowers.
