About this wine
Rombauer’s 2023 Sauvignon Blanc comes from one of the longest growing seasons in over a decade, with moderate summer temperatures and night harvesting to keep natural acidity. The grapes were whole-cluster pressed while cool; most of the juice fermented in stainless steel and the rest in French oak barrels and concrete tanks for extra weight and texture, and the wine is sealed under screw cap for freshness. Passion fruit, green melon and fresh-cut grass lead to a linear, intense palate with kiwi and Key lime, framed by mouthwatering acidity and a burst of grapefruit.
