Stags' Leap Winery's modern story began in 1970, when Carl and Joanne Doumani restored the property, vineyards and winemaking under the estate label. The historic Napa site now includes a deep cave cut into volcanic rhyolite, built alongside the original 1893 cave. The winery is particularly associated with Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah.
