About this champagne
Veuve Clicquot Rosé starts from the house's Yellow Label blend, Pinot Noir-led with Chardonnay and Meunier, then adds 12% red Pinot Noir wine for color, depth and power. It is the method Madame Clicquot pioneered in 1818, now used by most Champagne houses.
The aromas are rich: cherry, strawberry, raspberry and blueberry, white pepper and licorice, biscuit and croissant, with toast, orange peel and gingerbread from time on the lees. It finishes long and elegant, with freshness balancing the structure.
