About this wine
Felino is Viña Cobos’ line of pure, vibrant varietal wines, made by Paul Hobbs’ Mendoza winery as an introduction to the region’s terroir. The Malbec draws on carefully selected fruit from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, is fermented in stainless steel with only 9% aged nine months in new French oak, and is bottled unfined. Deep red with violet tones, the 2021 shows plum, blueberry, menthol and floral notes, and a concentrated yet balanced, juicy and pure palate with a long finish.
