About this wine
Metodo Lenta Fermentazione Zinfandel is a red from Puglia, in the heel of Italy, bottled under the Puglia IGT designation. Zinfandel is the American name for Primitivo, the grape that thrives in Puglia; the two are genetically identical. The wine belongs to the "Metodo Lenta Fermentazione" (slow fermentation method) range from San Marco, a winery based in Frascati, near Rome, which also makes a Puglia Appassimento under the same name.
