About this wine
Giulin is the Accornero family’s Barbera del Monferrato Superiore, first made in 1995 from 10 hectares of east-facing vines at around 210 metres in Vignale Monferrato. Fermented traditionally with a submerged cap and spontaneous malolactic, it is aged in steel and 500-litre French oak tonneaux for about a year after the harvest. Ruby in colour, it is fruity and harmonious on the nose, and very pleasant on the palate, with good structure, a sapid edge and freshness. This is the 2015 vintage.
