About this wine
This 2018 Barolo from Alessandro Rivetto is pure Nebbiolo, hand-picked and destemmed, then given two days of cold soaking before fermenting in temperature-controlled steel with about twenty days of skin contact. It is aged at least 38 months, 18 of them in barrel. Expect a garnet wine with orange glints and an intense, ethereal bouquet; the palate is austere yet velvety, robust and balanced, framed by soft, sweet tannins. Open it a couple of hours ahead.

The winery farms Nebbiolo in Serralunga d'Alba, including the Lazzarito MGA, plus vineyards in La Morra, Sinio and the Barbaresco area of Alba, aiming to let each parcel show its own character.
