About this wine
Sourced from Nebbiolo vineyards in Sinio and Serralunga d'Alba, Rivetto's 2021 Langhe Nebbiolo is hand-picked, destemmed and given a 30-hour cold soak before fermenting in temperature-controlled steel with about fifteen days of maceration. It then matures for a year in Slavonian oak casks and several months in bottle. Expect a bright ruby colour, a delicate nose of raspberry and violet, and a dry palate that turns velvety with time and lingers.

Alessandro Rivetto runs his family estate from the hamlet of Annunziata in La Morra, continuing a winegrowing tradition handed down by his great-grandfather Giovanni and grandfather Ercole. The winery farms Nebbiolo in Serralunga d'Alba, including the Lazzarito MGA, plus vineyards in La Morra, Sinio and the Barbaresco area of Alba, aiming to let each parcel show its own character.
