About this wine
Allegrini's 2023 Valpolicella Classico is 70% Corvina Veronese and 30% Rondinella, mostly from the Monte dei Galli vineyard at 200 metres, hand-picked in mid-September after a challenging, cool and stormy season. Fermented for about nine days in stainless steel, it rested in tank until mid-February and two months in bottle. Allegrini calls it an everyday joy: juicy, medium in alcohol, with cherries, red fruits and hibiscus, and firm, ripe, well-integrated tannins.
