About this aguardiente
Amarillo de Manzanares dates to 1885, when it was first made by hand in Manzanares, Caldas, which makes it Colombia's oldest aguardiente and the original 'amarillo'. Today the Industria Licorera de Caldas makes it sugar-free, keeping its golden color and its flavor of gorobeta sugarcane and anise grown on the town's Cerro Guadalupe.
