About this wine
Bertrand de Monceny's 2021 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune is a red Burgundy from Pinot Noir. The Hautes-Côtes de Beaune appellation covers the hills behind the Côte de Beaune, the area where the Monceny family built its links with growers as wine brokers. Bertrand de Monceny later added his own cellars and bottling in Beaune, and the house today aims for elegance, freshness and subtlety in its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

from the producer
Bertrand de Monceny is a Burgundy wine house based in Beaune. The family, originally from Savoie, traded textiles and then brokered grapes and must between growers and merchants. Bertrand de Monceny joined in 1955 and added négociant-éleveur work, with his own cellars and bottling in Beaune. Today the brand belongs to Beaune's Compagnie des Vins d'Autrefois.
