Bertrand de Monceny comes from a Beaune family of wine brokers; after he joined the business in 1955 it began raising and bottling its own wines, with elegance, freshness and subtlety as the stated aims.

Bertrand de Monceny is a Burgundy wine house based in Beaune. The family, originally from Savoie, traded textiles and then brokered grapes and must between growers and merchants. Bertrand de Monceny joined in 1955 and added négociant-éleveur work, with his own cellars and bottling in Beaune. Today the brand belongs to Beaune's Compagnie des Vins d'Autrefois.
