Red Mâcon is southern Burgundy's everyday red, from the rolling Mâconnais countryside between Tournus and Mâcon. This 2022 is bottled by Bertrand de Monceny, a Beaune négociant-éleveur that grew out of a family brokerage after 1955 and favours elegance, freshness and subtlety over weight.

Bertrand de Monceny is a Burgundy wine house based in Beaune. The family, originally from Savoie, traded textiles and then brokered grapes and must between growers and merchants. Bertrand de Monceny joined in 1955 and added négociant-éleveur work, with his own cellars and bottling in Beaune. Today the brand belongs to Beaune's Compagnie des Vins d'Autrefois.
