About this wine
Bertrand de Monceny's 2021 Nuits-Saint-Georges is a village-level red Burgundy from Pinot Noir, from the Côte de Nuits appellation of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The Monceny family built ties with growers in both the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits as wine brokers, and Bertrand de Monceny, who joined in 1955, extended the house into ageing and bottling under its own label. The house aims for elegance, freshness and subtlety, with measured oak ageing.

from the producer
Bertrand de Monceny is a Burgundy wine house based in Beaune. The family, originally from Savoie, traded textiles and then brokered grapes and must between growers and merchants. Bertrand de Monceny joined in 1955 and added négociant-éleveur work, with his own cellars and bottling in Beaune. Today the brand belongs to Beaune's Compagnie des Vins d'Autrefois.
