About this wine
Bricco dell'Uccellone takes its name from the nickname of a woman who lived on the vineyard hill — her nose looked like a bird's beak and she always wore black. The Barbera macerates 20 days on the skins, then ages 12 months in oak barriques and another 12 in bottle. Very deep ruby with garnet glints, it is concentrated and dense, with red berries, forest fruit, minty spice, vanilla and liquorice, great body and long persistence.
