About this wine
Brovia was founded in 1863 by Giacinto Brovia in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the Barolo zone. Today it's run by the fourth generation, Elena Brovia and her husband Alex Sanchez. The family farms 19.2 hectares organically (without formal certification) and harvests entirely by hand. The Dolcetto is usually the first grape picked, in late September.
Brovia's Dolcetto d'Alba is fermented and aged only in stainless steel, with no oak, and bottled unfiltered. That keeps the grape's fresh, juicy character intact. This is the 2016 vintage.
